Ventura Securities Charges:

The account opening for Ventura Securities is “Zero”. This means that you can open your account for free. The AMC (Annual Maintenance Charge) is Rs 400, this has to be paid annually. Apart from this, one has to deposit a minimum of Rs 1000 as the initial margin at the time of account opening. Ventura Securities also charge their customers for using its trading software known as the “Pointer”. There are many charges that you can pay, and accordingly, you will have to pay brokerages.

Ventura Securities Brokerage:

The brokerage structure of Ventura Capital is slightly different from any other broker. Ventura Capital has various slabs according to which one has to pay brokerage. It depends on the upfront amount that you pay for using the “Pointer Software” at the beginning of the year. The upfront amount starts from Rs 1000 and ranges to Rs 72000. The more upfront money you pay, the lower the brokerage rate is applicable to you. On top of this, if you generate the total amount of the upfront margin then you can claim the amount back.

For example, if you paid a total sum of Rs 10,000 for a year and generated Rs 11000 worth of brokerage for the whole year then you are entitled to a refund of Rs 10,000 as you have already generated that much brokerage.

For Equity Intraday the brokerage is flat at 0.03%. For Equity Option it is Rs 50 Per Lot. For Equity Futures the brokerage is 0.03%. For commodities the brokerage ranges from 0.15% to Rs 50 Per Lot, depending on the slab that you opt for.

Ventura Securities Account:

Ventura Securities is not a good option for beginner-level traders as the total charges are extremely high. Even at the base level plan, where the brokerage is the highest, you have to pay 1000 x 12 = Rs 12,000 annually which is extremely high.
